Well, what better day to change our website to a new, fresh design than Groundhog's Day!? According to Punxsutawny Phil, the ever-dependable vermin, we shall soon see spring! I'm not sure all the ice and snow will melt away in only six weeks, but 'thus sayeth the Groundhog.' So be it. Amen.

(Probably my favorite picture of a groundhog + man every recorded. Both look elated.)
Gatherings started out the new year with a FAB-u-lous wedding at Savor restaurant in Fayetteville. There we had the pleasure of designing and coordinating Cheryl & Mark's January 15th wedding. Their ceremony was at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. Crystal and I were a leee-tle out of our element, growing up Presbyterian and all... but we had great help from the Irish-Catholic church wedding coordinator. Let's be honest, if you have an accent, I will hang on your every word, even if you're telling me the flower arrangement can't cover the Holy Mother's face at the altar. Well know I know...
The party really got going at Savor where the guests were treated to the sweet DJ mixing of Brock Entertainment, and the sweet aroma of Jules Design florals. Cheryl and Mark went for an "icy purple" theme, with purple overlays on the guest tables and lots of twinkling white lights throughout the room- floor, ceiling, dancefloor, and walls included. Mark even incorporated the "purple ice" theme at the bar by mixing up a specialty drink called "Purple Passion"- yum-o! Check out the stunning photos captured by our FAVORITE photographer Miles Witt Boyer. Miles has a way of getting in your face without you knowing it and freezing your favorite wedding memories for you in still frame- all while looking like a major stud. Some of the photos of Cheryl and Mark were taken without Mark even seeing Cheryl! Give Miles a call and find out how he managed THAT!
Cheryl & Mark- we LOVE you guys and wish you a lifetime full of everyday enjoyment!
